Mt. Sembrano is the highest point in the Municipality of Jalajala, rising to about 734 meters above mean sea level (AMSL). According to the landform classification, the collu-alluvial fans have an elevation between 0 to 100 meters; the footslopes have an elevation of 100 meters; and the hills have an elevation of above 100 meters.
Based on slope categories, Jalajala is grouped as follows: between 0 to 3% with area of 1,535 hectares or 31.14 % of total municipal area, between 3 to 8% with area of 646 hectares or 13.10%, between 8 to 18% with 1,569 hectares or 31.83%, between 18 to 30% with 1,060 hectares or 21.50%, and between 30 to 50% with area of 120 hectares accounting for 2.43%.
