TURN-OVER OF NEW MOBILE PATROL FOR JALAJALA PNP December 14, 2020 The Municipality of Jalajala though the leadership of our beloved Mayor Elmer C. Pillas led the completion of the turnover of the brand new Toyota Hilux Mobile Patrol to P.Lt. Jackson A. Aguyen, Officer In-Charge of Jalajala Municipal Police Station. The Mobile Patrol was received by the different local chief executives of different municipalities in the province from the Rizal Provincial Government thru the initiative of our hardworking Gov. Rebecca “Nini” Ynares.
JALAJALA PNP'S NEW PATROL VEHICLE FROM RIZAL PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT December 05, 2020 Different municipalities in the Province of Rizal including the Municipality of Jalajala led by our beloved Mayor Elmer C. Pillas along with OIC Chief Jackson Aguyen received Jalajala's new Patrol Vehicle from Gov. Rebecca "Nini" Ynares and Rizal PNP PD Col. Joseph R. Arguelles. Mayor Elmer C. Pillas with our hardworking Atty. Roselle Ramilo, Councilor Froilan Candelaria and PO3 Richard Sotto proudly stood in front of our town's brand new patrol vehicle. A fleet of brand new Toyota Hilux Patrol Vehicles were awarded by our dear Provincial Gov. Nini Ynares, joined by Vice Gov. Junrey San Juan, Board Members, Chief of Police and Municipal Mayors of the 13 Municipalities & 1 City in the Province of Rizal during the turnover ceremony in front of the Provincial Capitol Building. These new addition to the Patrol Vehicles of PNP Rizal aims to maintain the peace and order in the whole province and each town, respectively.
28TH NATIONAL CHILDREN'S MONTH November 03, 2020 The Jalajala Local Government under the leadership Mayor Elmer C. Pillas and the Sangguniang Bayan Councilors for the Protection of Children are united in the celebration of the 28th National Children's Month with the theme: “SAMA-SAMANG ITAGUYOD ANG KARAPATAN NG BAWAT BATA SA PANAHON NG PANDEMYA!”. Batas Pambansa 10661 declares that November is the National Month for Children. It aims to recognize and value the rights of every child, especially in the face of pandemics. In times of crisis, it is important to pay attention to our young people as well as their needs and rights because they are also an important part of our community, and like us - they are also affected.
INSPECTION OF EVACUATION CENTERS November 01, 2020 Around 9:30 pm of November 01, 2020, PSSg. Maylanie Gumangol, WCPD, SAR Alert and PCpl. Henry Sali, mobile driver, under direct supervision of PCpt. Marlo M. Camantigue, Chief of Police-Jalajala, together with Ms. Stephanie Sison, MSWD Staff conducted inspection of evacuation centers at Barangay Sipsipin and at Barangay Second District around 10:00 pm.
CONDITIONS OF EVACUEES IN EVACUATION CENTERS VISITED November 01, 2020 Based on the consolidated report of MSWD Jalajala (submitted by all 11 barangays), we have recorded 225 families or 976 individuals who evacuated due to the adverse effects of Typhoon Rolly. These families are temporarily staying at various designated evacuation centers in each barangay such as public schools, health centers, old municipal hall, multi-purpose evacuation centers, former barangay halls and day care centers. Some of them prefer to stay with their relatives and acquaintances who are in a safer place. Our barangay colleagues have already visited them and are constantly monitoring their conditions. They are also some of the recipients of the relief packs distributed earlier.
PNP JALAJALA VISITED THE COMMUNITY NEAR LAGUNA LAKE November 01, 2020 Around 9:00 pm of November 01, 2020, PCpt. Marlo M. Camantigue, Chief of Police, PLt. Jojo J. Pangilinan, Deputy Chief of Police and personnel of Jalajala Municipal Police Station, conducted monitoring of water level of Laguna Lake in wake of Typhoon Rolly. Further, PCpt. Camantigue advised the community living near the shoreline to immediately proceed to the evacuation center for their safety.
MDRRMO RESPONDED TO A REPORT OF FALLEN TREE IN BARANGAY PUNTA November 01, 2020 Staff of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Barangay Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO) of Punta responded to a report of fallen tree on the highway in Barangay Punta around 5:00 p.m. today. The MDRRMO and BDRRMO personnel cut down and removed this large tree from obstructing the area so that it would not cause any hazard and make the said road passable.

DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD AND RELIEF PACKS FOR EVACUEES OF TYPHOON ROLLY November 01, 2020 Today, our Mayor Elmer C. Pillas visited all the barangays in Jalajala town to deliver food and relief packs through barangay officials whose priority will be given to the evacuees affected by Typhoon Rolly. The total number of relief packs distributed in each barangay was ninety (90) food packs with five (5) kilos of rice with a total of 990 food packs from the Municipal Fund. Our Jalajala PNP colleagues help with the distributions. Some municipal employees and MSWD staffs worked together to repack the said food packs distributed in each barangay today. BASIC EQUIPMENT PREPARATION FOR TYPHOON ROLLY October 31, 2020 Our Jalajala Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), headed by Jan Edreiane Enriquez, is also conducting the corresponding preparation of Basic Equipment for the possible impact of Typhoon Rolly in our town.
PUBLIC ADDRESS FOR TYPHOON ROLLY October 31, 2020 On October 31, 2020 at around 10 o’clock in the morning, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office together with the Bureau of Fire Protection Jalajala, Rizal conducted public address and warn every residents within the area of responsibility to be prepared and take precautionary measure for Typhoon Rolly.
DISINFECTION OF JALAJALA MUNICIPAL COMPOUND AGAINST COVID-19 October 30, 2020 Monthly regular disinfection of Jalajala Municipal Compound was conducted earlier today, October 30, 2020. Regular disinfection in the Municipal Compound of Jalajala is scheduled every last Friday of the month as part of the preventive measures for the spread of COVID-19.
WATER LEVEL MONITORING & LANDSLIDE PRONE AREA CHECKING October 26, 2020 Around 9:35 am of Monday, October 26, 2020, personnel of Bureau of Fire Protection – Jalajala under the supervision of Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SFO3 Roy M. Adrados conducted the monitoring of water level along river throughout Laguna de Bay at Brgy. 2nd District and checking of landslide prone area at Brgy. 3rd District, Jalajala Rizal as Typhoon Quinta threatens some parts of Southern Luzon.
JALAJALA SPORTS COMPLEX GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY October 15, 2020 The Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Jalajala Sports Complex (first in the Second District of Rizal) was held today at Upper Mapacla, Brgy. First District, Jalajala, Rizal. This project will begin through the efforts and assistance of Congressman Juan Fidel Nograles, with the support of Governor Rebecca "Nini" Ynares, and led by Hon. Mayor Elmer C. Pillas.
TURN-OVER OF DONATED FACE SHIELDS TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF JALAJALA October 12, 2020 The Local Government of Jalajala under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Elmer C. Pillas would like to extend our gratitude to Department of Energy Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi, Semirara Mining and Power Corporation, First Gen Corporation, Shell Philippines, and Duterte’s Kitchen for the 5,000 pieces of face shields donated to the Municipality of Jalajala. The face shields were delivered to Jalajala through Mr. Frank Resma and was received by Jalajala Public Information Office (PIO) on September 25, 2020. The Municipality of Jalajala is a FACE MASK and FACE SHIELD ZONE and implements strict wearing of face shields in public places and while in public transportation in compliance with Municipal Ordinance No. 37, Series of 2020.
PHILIPPINE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM (PHILSYS) MOA SIGNING (JALAJALA-PSA) October 08, 2020 Today, October 08, 2020, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between the Municipality of Jalajala and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for the so-called Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) was held at the Office of the Mayor of Jalajala. Mayor Elmer C. Pillas, Ms. Yra B. Sibug - Chief Statistical Specialist from PSA Rizal, some Barangay Captains, and some department heads of LGU-Jalajala were among the signatories. This is for pre-registration for the said ID system to be implemented in our country. Pre-registration will be held starting Monday, October 12, 2020. The barangay officials of Jalajala will cooperate through dissemination of information to their constituents, who are among the first batches of registrants for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
DEPED REGION IV-A CALABARZON HONORED MAYOR ELMER C. PILLAS October 01, 2020 With the efforts and assistance of the Department Heads, Committee Chairperson on Education Councilor Gina Bonita, and the employees of Jalajala Local Government, Mayor Elmer C. Pillas was given an award from DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON. This is due to the continued support of Jalajala LGU to DepEd especially during the “New Normal” era and the changes faced by our students as well as DepEd teachers and colleagues. The said award was given by Ms. Cherrylou D. Repia, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent SDO Rizal with current DepEd District Supervisor Ms. Aimee Asuncion. Under the leadership of Mayor Pillas, one of the priorities of the local government is the education of our youth as they are the future and they will also continue the development of our dear country. This award will serve as an inspiration for the Local Government to further improve the support to fellow students and colleagues from the Department of Education.
